Directions to Ad Astra Guesthouse from the End of the M55

Please be aware that throughout most of Blackpool and all of Lytham and St Annes a 30 MPH speed limit is strictly enforced!! There are LOTS of fixed and mobile cameras!!

At the roundabout at the end of the M55 (with the “Helter Skelter type sculpture), filter left, following signs to Lytham St Annes.

At the next roundabout take the 3^rd exit onto a dual carriageway.  Continue on this road (Progress Way) through several sets of traffic lights passing Morrisons Supermarket on your left and Blackpool Airport also on your left.  (This is not the way the sign posts direct you but we think this route is easier and more direct!) 

At the end of this road (you will see the sea in front of you) turn left towards Lytham St Annes. 

Continue on this road (Clifton Drive).  

Continue through 3 sets of traffic lights (the 2^nd set of lights are in the centre of St Annes, you will see B&M Bargains on your left and The Lord Derby Pub on your right)

After the 3^rd set of lights (situated at a junction with the RAFA Home, Richard Peck House on your left, and the parish church of St Paul’s on the other side of the junction on the left) take the 2^nd right onto Derbe Road. Continue down Derbe Road, crossing over Alexandria Drive, Ad Astra is on the left a little past the Gaydon Hotel and directly opposite the Elsinghurst Hotel.
